Raising the Stakes: ICM’s Expert Transformation of Club 3000 Bingo Hall
The transformation of Club 3000 Bingo Hall in Leith was an exciting yet complex project that demanded precision, problem-solving, and expert craftsmanship. Over a 26-week fit-out, ICM worked within an existing unit, overcoming significant structural and design challenges to create a vibrant and welcoming entertainment space. From unexpected site conditions to intricate drainage reconfigurations, the project required adaptability and seamless coordination to ensure successful delivery.
One of the biggest hurdles emerged when a previously unknown gas membrane was discovered within the concrete slab, only identified by Building Control mid-project. This unforeseen issue required swift assessment and remediation to maintain progress without compromising safety or structural integrity. In addition, the drainage layout provided by the landlord proved inaccurate, requiring real-time adjustments to the installation plan as the fit-out progressed. Despite these setbacks, ICM’s expertise and proactive approach ensured that solutions were implemented efficiently, keeping the project on track.
