ICM successfully relocated Monty’s Deli to Snowhill, creating a fresh, inviting space just steps from Birmingham’s iconic Great Western Arcade.

The relocation of Monty’s Deli Sandwich Bar to Unit 2, One Snowhill, was a transformative project, blending strategic planning with high-quality craftsmanship. Situated just 50 meters from the iconic Great Western Arcade in Birmingham, the new site offered an exciting opportunity to create a fresh and inviting space for Monty’s loyal customers. Acting as Principal Contractor, ICM delivered a comprehensive internal fit-out that breathed new life into the venue, culminating in a successful handover.

The scope of work required a meticulous approach to every detail. Each element was designed with functionality and aesthetics in mind, from constructing new perimeter and division walls to laying durable and stylish flooring. A key highlight was the installation of ceilings, electrics, and plumbing systems that seamlessly integrated to support the needs of a busy sandwich bar. This foundation set the stage for a dynamic and welcoming environment for staff and customers.

Bespoke joinery, stylish flooring, and flawless decorations transformed the venue into a vibrant and functional sandwich bar.
Adding character to the space, ICM’s joinery team crafted bespoke cabinets, doors, and a standout feature wall that became a focal point of the deli. These elements not only enhanced the overall design but also reflected the artisanal quality synonymous with Monty’s Deli. The final touch was a flawless decoration process that brought warmth and vibrancy to the new location, creating an inviting atmosphere for its grand reopening.
Seamless collaboration with client direct suppliers ensured every element, from kitchen equipment to branding, was perfectly integrated.

Bancone in Borough Yards was my second restaurant build with ICM. Timelines were realistic and expectations were exceeded. The project was well managed all the way through and when obstacles were encountered I found their team's ability to problem solve while on the job remarkable. Ultimately, they are a very professional outfit who I will certainly be using again.
